MEET THE DT

The Crafty Pad Design Team

 Debbie -
Owner and designer of  The Crafty Pad Designs

I'm Debbie owner and designer of The Crafty Stamp Designs. I love designing and crafting.  Stamping is one of my favorite crafts and using that image on anything I can think of as well as cards.  I love to see others using my stamps and designs on their projects - it is one of the best feelings in the world. :)

Dawn
Senior TCP DT Leader - Team A

Hi. I'm Dawn. I work full time as a Dental Nurse with the Special Care & Sedation  team in Edinburgh, which I find really rewarding!  I've been crafty pretty much all of my life with a bit of knitting,  flower arranging, embroidery, you name it I've possibly had a go!!! (Got my Mum to thank for that!).  I started making cards almost 5 years ago. I know because, the first card I ever made was for my Dad's 70th birthday! (He'll be 75 at the end of April!).  I love to exchange ideas & share what I learn with others!  As well as crafting I love holiday's, eating out & spending time with family & friends! Not necessarily in that order!  I'm so excited about working with Debbie's images & the ladies on the Crafty Pad Design Team. Dawn's Blog - Dawn's Crafting

Craft Mamma Mia - Helen
Hi. I'm Helen, a 40-something married Mum of 2, and have been "crafty" as long as I can remember! One of my earliest crafting memories is of my Nan helping me to knit clothes for my Barbie. I started card-making in April 2011, and this takes up most of my craft time ... I think it's safe to say it's very addictive! When I get the chance I also enjoy cross stitching and, when time allows, dressmaking and lace making. My other great love is being a volunteer Leader and Trainer with Girlguiding UK. Thanks for visiting my blog - I hope you enjoy my creations. x

Leesa aka The Navy Wife
Senior TCP DT Leader - Team B & Team Co-ordinator

Hi, I am Leesa aka The Navy Wife, I am 32 years old and  live in Perth, Australia.  I have been sewing, crafting and card making for over 10 years now.  I enjoy it greatly and find it a passionate way to express what I am feeling and a great escape to give mummy some ‘time out’.  I do find I have somewhat of an obsession for off the page projects including items for home decor.

Ali

Hi, I’m Ali, in my 40s (only just!) wife for 18 years, and mum of 3 young children. We live in Southampton, Hampshire. I was an Infant school teacher for 15 years but became a full time carer to my youngest son, who has Autism a few years ago. I started card-making about 4 years ago, just for family and friends and found out how much I loved it! I’ve learnt so much already, but there’s still so much I want to try, and always something new to learn!

Debbi

My name is Debbi and at the moment I am a stay at home mum on a career break from my role as a Business Lending Consultant at a bank. I have a very supportive husband and two beautiful boys who are 6 and 3. At the moment I am loving my crafting and it is a very exciting time! I have been crafting about 6 years - all started by my friend over the road Sam when we went to classes together and created cards on our dining tables! When I decided to start my blog the obvious choice for me was to call it taylor-made cards as that is what my surname is and I love the play on words... I love any kind of paper-craft and love to try new techniques and see the difference that this can make to your cards. I am really looking forward to being part of this design time as I am amongst some wonderful crafters who share the same love for people as me...

Rachel
I'm a 44 year old mum of two gorgeous girls, Lucy and Penny. Very happily married to Shaun and live in the Lune Valley near Lancaster in NW England. I'm a full time mum - although I manage to fit in card making and gardening in in my spare time. I also love to run and do aerobics and I run a pack of Rainbows in my village. I also help run the gardening club at my childrens school and help out at PTA events and socials. I used to be a chemistry teacher at secondary school - and actually have a phD in environmental science! I'm happier now than I've ever been - and I love my DT work!
