We have a technique for you this week. Kindly prepared by our very own Maggie, she shows you how to 'two way stamp'. It's an easy technique but very effective.

Two Way Stamping allows you to make a background for the outline stamp you have.

First stamp onto a piece of foam (I always use a permanent ink for this) and cut the image out. When it's done you're ready to go...

Ink the background foam stamp and stamp onto your chosen surface, next stamp with your outline stamp. I've used Kaleidacolor for the background and black ink for the outline.

Here I've used Brushed Corduroy for the background and Walnut Stain for the outline.

I've made all three background stamps at one go - next time when I need them I'll have them ready.

You can also cut out shapes with cutting dies...

Below is an example card made using Two Way Stamping technique.
