Butterfly Tutorial by Shirley Gaskin

This tutorial is to show you how Shirley Gaskin created her beautiful glossy butterflies. :)

Shirley is a Trimcraft member you can find her work in her gallery HERE.

1. Print or stamp the ‘Butterflies’ stamp from The Crafty Pad.

2. Colour to your own choice, then to make the lovely shine cover with PVA glue spread thinly, it drys to a clear shine, as you can see.

3. When dry decorate the top butterfly with beads down the body and add thin wire feelers.

4. Layer on top of each other using foam pads or silicone glue.

5. Cover your base card with paper of your choice – add butterfly to complete the card.

I did not use the 4th butterfly it is entirely your choice – you could use it inside the card or on a tag.

I hope you have found this Tutorial helpful.
